Subcategories or multiple categories for expenses

Be able to have an expense with a main category with subcategories

Ideally, select or set multiple categories for an expense, so users can search for either category.

Use case:

To track spending on user's motorcycle and gas, they have to make a category called "motorcycle gas". If they can set multiple categories, they can search for motorcycle and gas categories (ideally, singularly and together). Another point of view is if you buy gas and food on the same receipt, it would be nice to be able to search for both

not convenient. we are a remodeling company we need to know the whole labors cost for 1 project and also we need to know each sub-contractor, like carpenter, electrician, plumber, painting, roofing ….. each of them how much we have paid.

I collect sales taxes in my business. It would be very helpful to have multiple categories in a transaction so that I could track sales and taxes without having to create two transactions.

I bought a fridge for my truck. I recorded it as a tax expense. I also bought the extended warranty. Let's say 2 years later I need the receipt, I don't remember when I bought it. But if there was a sub category called warranty. I could place all warranty receipts there and have an easier time locating the receipt
