Update 01/10: We've added HTML text forwarding for emails. When sending the email, please make sure that only text is in the email's body. Remove any images (e.g., logos, product images, etc.)

Update 12/20: We've added email receipt forwarding for PDF files
1. Please forward or attach & send the PDF file(s) to receipts@upload.xpns.in (must be from your Easy Expense email). The email's subject line will be the vendor name.
1a. You can attach multiple PDF files and each file will be an expense (i.e., 2 PDF files = 2 separate expenses)
2. Once sent, the email receipt will be in your "Transactions Review" (where the bank transactions are). Here, you can tap the vendor and category to change it.
3. Assign it to a workspace
4. Go to the "Transactions" tab to view or edit the expense

If you're importing multiple PDF files via one email, we recommend adding it to a report (e.g., PDF Review) so you can sort through the expenses as you won't be able to view the images until they are assigned.

Lots of my receipts are emailed. Or online orders. Would be nice feature to easily upload them

I think I just posted the same idea... except a cloud version/ folder. I have old receipts that are going to be a huge pain to enter 1 by 1. Ugh.

Organization is the key. Central cloud folder by year. Although this program does it. I would imagine over whelming it in a few years. Perhaps an out going email from app. I have generate monthly reports with the receipts included. This is law for my industry.

I prefer copies of my receipts as Neat receipts screwed me. Years of data. Anything can happen! Keep copies.

it’s a great idea to keep backups of anything important. Which is exactly why we store all the receipt data in multiple separate databases. If something happens to one of our service providers we will have an up to date backup to keep things running smoothly.

Can you add the ability to import pdfs by sharing them with the app?

To clarify, are you looking for a way to direct share/upload to the app? Please let me know if that's the case, and I can create a new feature request for you.

Currently, you can upload PDFs to the app in the "Transactions" tab > "Add New Expense" > "PDF Upload"

I would love to be able to attach a receipt from camera, or emailed pdf file, where scanning a receipt isn't possible due to it arriving via email and not a hard copy.

Hi Laura, you can attach a receipt from your gallery when scanning by tapping the gallery icon on the bottom left > "Choose from gallery".

You can also upload PDF files from your device in the "Transactions" tab > "Add New Expense" > "PDF Upload".
