Line Item Categorization (itemize receipt)
Be able to take a receipt like Wal Mart, whose purchases can fall into multiple categories like grocery and pet, and assign categories to each line item. The current workaround is to use the βSplitβ button to split the expense into multiple expenses and select their categories accordingly. Ideally: 1. Function to apply a different category to each line item on a receipt, while keeping them linked together 1. Strongly mention when a scanned receipt potentially has multiple categories, allowing user to split if needed 2. Note if that item is taxable and at what percent. Make it so we can also track how much we spend on tax. The receipt total might reflect a combination of taxable and non taxable items. 3. Select line items to total the expense (i.e., only extract business line items) keywords: line item catagorization, item line categorization

Add line or field for Tips/Gratuity
The scan receipt works great for restaurant receipts, but it only captures the printed values and forces me to edit in order to add the tip. Can you add a tip line item. Would be nice to see in reports later too. ----- You can also write off tips to cabbies, valets, maids and other non-meal related people as travel expenses. Keeping track of these values is important. --- Ideally: Make the "Total" field calculated as the sum of "Purchase", "Tax", and "Tip" -- rather than direct entry. Track total tip amount in report summary

Export transactions sorted by category then date
For all types of reports, be able to: - Export expenses or transactions with selected categories - Export itemized expenses grouped by category (i.e., sort by category) - see expenses in a report or summary, not each category by itself but all categories together (i.e., select all categories). Currently, the workaround for reports by category is to create a report in the "Reports" tab > tap the "Transactions" tab > tap the category filter (under the search bar) to filter expenses by category > tap the month (above the expenses) to bulk select them > tap "Actions" (bottom right) > "Add to report". Or export a CSV of expenses and sort them by category. tags: export category, expense category, export by category, export categories

Make the automatic Receipt Crop start with whole scan
At the moment, the βCropβ page for receipt photos chosen from my phoneβs photo gallery tries to identify a section of the receipt (never works). I always have to manually adjust it to take in the whole picture. Whole picture selection should be the starting point for the crop option. -- The option should also apply to scanning and capturing receipts in general keywords: full screen crop, manual cropping

Subcategories or multiple categories for expenses
Be able to have an expense with a main category with subcategories Ideally, select or set multiple categories for an expense, so users can search for either category. Use case: To track spending on user's motorcycle and gas, they have to make a category called "motorcycle gas". If they can set multiple categories, they can search for motorcycle and gas categories (ideally, singularly and together). Another point of view is if you buy gas and food on the same receipt, it would be nice to be able to search for both

For logging into your account, have an option for 2FA or multi-factor authentication Additional Security Features: 1) Two Factor Authentication via Authentication codes sent via Email/Authentication App such as Authy, Google Authenticator etc. 2) Single User-Session Restriction where only one device [regardless of device type and access mode] could access the account at one time. Any new login would be alerted via email and the previous session would automatically be terminated right immediately.
