Line Item Categorization (itemize receipt)

Be able to take a receipt like Wal Mart, whose purchases can fall into multiple categories like grocery and pet, and assign categories to each line item. The current workaround is to use the β€œSplit” button to split the expense into multiple expenses and select their categories accordingly. Ideally: 1. Function to apply a different category to each line item on a receipt, while keeping them linked together 1. Strongly mention when a scanned receipt potentially has multiple categories, allowing user to split if needed 2. Note if that item is taxable and at what percent. Make it so we can also track how much we spend on tax. The receipt total might reflect a combination of taxable and non taxable items. 3. Select line items to total the expense (i.e., only extract business line items) keywords: line item catagorization, item line categorization

Export transactions sorted by category then date

For all types of reports, be able to: - Export expenses or transactions with selected categories - Export itemized expenses grouped by category (i.e., sort by category) - see expenses in a report or summary, not each category by itself but all categories together (i.e., select all categories). Currently, the workaround for reports by category is to create a report in the "Reports" tab > tap the "Transactions" tab > tap the category filter (under the search bar) to filter expenses by category > tap the month (above the expenses) to bulk select them > tap "Actions" (bottom right) > "Add to report". Or export a CSV of expenses and sort them by category. tags: export category, expense category, export by category, export categories
